Garry Slade MCSP SRP, Physiotherapist
Garry Slade has over 20 years of experience as a physiotherapist. Combining his experience as an international athlete, a sport science degree and a physiotherapy degree he has developed Thera-sport into a leading rehab centre.
Garry was an international long jumper for Wales and Great Britain before injury curtailed his career. Since then Garry has aided others in achieving their goals be it at the high end of sport or to be able to walk and function normally.
Garry spent 15 years in Superleague rugby nearly tasting success at a Grabd Final with Bradford Bulls and two challenge Cup Finals with Huddersfield Giants. He has also worked with disability sport attending the World Cup football for the partially sighted. Garry has also worked with elite gymnastics attending several World and European Championships and still works closely with the Tumblers. While at the stadium Garry came into close contact with the swimmers and developed both rehab and preventative programs for the swimmers.
Garry has worked closely with many leading surgeons and stays update with new developments and treatments, hence when the Alter-G treadmill came along he was keen to have one since it benefited so many problems from the stroke patients, post op surgeries to the elite sporting population.
