Yes, Garry Slade MCSP SRP is a fully qualified physiotherapist with both a physiotherapy degree and a sport science degree. He also has more than 20 years experience as a physiotherapist working both in the USA and UK.
Yes at the back of the practise is a private car park. This is off Back Wentworth Street which is off Wentworth Street. There is also on-street parking for up to an hour.
Hands on treatment is normally about 30 minutes however if clients are using rehab equipment sessions can last over an hour.
Once the client is confident and can use the device independently, the treadmill is available any time including outside clinic hours.
No anyone can see a physiotherapist. Some insurance companies ask that you get a referral from the doctor. Bupa now no longer require this but you still need to contact Bupa first to gain authorisation. Sometimes we will contact your doctor to discuss you symptoms.
The cost of a session is £35.
The initial charge is £35 to assess your suitability for the machine and to show you how to use it and design a plan. After that the cost is variable depending how often the client wants to use it and for how long. But it can work out as little as £10 a session.
There is disabled access at the rear of the Practice with a ramp. We also have a disabled toilet.
It depends on the area of the body to be treated. Shorts are advisable for any lower limb problems and the back. For neck and shoulders a crop top is recommended for ladies since access to the shoulder blade is important.
